Facial Balancing

Strategic placement of dermal fillers like Restylane, Juvederm, or RHA dermal fillers, combined with neurotoxins like Dysport and Botox Cosmetic, to restore volume and establish changes in light reflex. Results take time, and are better when combined with skin care products, in-office skin treatments, and collagen stimulators like Sculptra Aesthetic.

Lip, Cheek & Jawline Filler

When considering lip filler, it is often appropriate to add subtle amounts of filler to the cheeks, jawline, and chin area to support a larger lip. Lips are often enlarged to the point that they are no longer supported by the rest of the face, creating an imbalance. Facial balancing to support the eyes and lips is sometimes necessary to accompany our augmentation goals.

Chin & Jawline Filler

Chin filler can enhance the difference between the jawline and the neck. Jawline filler is often combined with chin filler and can be done in stages. Multiple syringes of Hyaluronic Acid filler are needed for this procedure and may be combined with other treatments like neuromodulators like Dysport. Male chins are shaped differently than female chins. One of our specialties at Ori Aesthetics is to focus on maintaining the appropriate shape for male or female chins.

Lower Face Rejuvenation

Combining fat dissolving, jawline, chin dermal filler, injectable collagen stimulators, and neuromodulators (like Dysport and Botox) can rejuvenate and balance the lower face. Defining the jawline can require a unique treatment plan, depending on what factors are causing your concerns. Many patients come in asking for jawline filler but may, in fact, need a few different types of products to achieve the desired results.

Lower Face Filler

Lower face balancing involves strategically placed filler and/or collagen stimulators (like Sculptra Aesthetic) in the jawline, chin, cheeks, submalar, preauricular, prejowel, chin, and nasolabial folds. A special emphasis must be placed on maintaining a natural, balanced face shape.

Cheek & Chin Filler

Cheek filler is commonly used alone or in combination with chin filler to establish balance and to give the illusion of lift by changing light reflection. Providers at Ori Aesthetics focus on maintaining feminine vs. masculine light point reflexes, depending on the goals and presentation of our patients. Hyaluronic Acid fillers like Restylane Lyft, Restylane Defyne, or RHA 4 are typically used in these areas, and results last 12-18 months. Alternatively, if you are not interested in filler, collagen stimulators like Sculptra Aesthetic can be injected to achieve the same results.

Gummy Smile

Correction of a gummy smile often requires a combination of treatments like lip filler for subtle volume and neurotoxins like Botox or Dysport to relax the muscle pulling the lip upwards. Not everyone is a candidate for this combination, so your Ori Aesthetics Provider will determine your best treatment plan at your consult. Keep in mind that certain aspects of this treatment may last longer than others, so routine maintenance is often needed to maintain these results.

Chin and Lips

Often, injecting the lips without addressing the chin area can create an imbalance in the lower face. Adding chin filler to lip filler treatments enhances the overall result and provides a balanced lower face. This also allows patients to provide a little more fullness to the lips that otherwise might look unnatural with their face.

FAQ

Those who desire non-surgical correction of volume loss, fine lines, or facial asymmetry are good candidates for dermal fillers. A consultation is key to assessing individual suitability.

Although swelling or bruising may temporarily impair the final look, immediate results are usually visible.

Results can last six months to two years, depending on the filler type and treatment area.

Minimal downtime is expected, and most return to daily activities quickly. Side effects like minor swelling or bruising usually fade within a few days.

Avoid blood thinners before treatment to reduce bruising. Post-treatment, skip strenuous activities and sun exposure for 24 hours to optimize results.

A topical anesthetic may be used for comfort. Fillers are injected via a fine needle or cannula, with the procedure taking 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the treatment area.
