Melanie Frye, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in non-surgical aesthetic medicine. Melanie holds her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas-Houston Health Science Center School of Nursing and a Master of Science degree from Texas Woman's University in Houston, Texas. She became Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in March of 2005. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Texas- Arlington in December 2020.
In 2007, Melanie underwent training for neurotoxins and dermal fillers. During that time, she also received additional certification in the utilization of lasers for hair removal and skin rejuvenation. Since then she has become certified in the administration of sclerotherapy and has undergone extensive training for the advanced placement of dermal fillers and neuromodulators, including the newer generation dermal fillers and neurotoxins. Since 2010 Melanie has also become an experienced injector of Sculptra Aesthetic® collagen stimulator, Kybella for submental fullness and other areas of unwanted body fat and has as gained extensive experience in microneedling. Melanie has become trained in the use of PDO and similar threads for the face and body. She is competent in the applications of multiple light based and laser modalities, such as IPL/ BBL, ThermiTight Injectable RF, and Optimus Morpheus8. Melanie specializes in taking a conservative approach to anti-aging, focusing on improving the integrity of the skin and promoting natural results.
Melanie has been a GAIN Trainer for Galderma since 2017. She also co-founded Injectors Network, an interprofessional collaboration organization for aesthetic injectors. Melanie is happily married with two sons, and enjoys reading and playing sports during her downtime.

Melanie’s favorite treatment is chin filler. Providing balance and support to the chin area highlights the lips and completes the aesthetic shape of the entire face. Chin filler is an impactful area without looking overtly treated.
Outside of work, Melanie spends time with her 2 sons and husband. Melanie’s husband Robert and a few close friends own a brewery in the Heights area called Elder Son Brewing Company. Robert is the head brewer and specializes in crafting unique and tasty beer!
